Star “Sell Sunset” Maya Vander — one of the show’s original cast members — won’t be returning next season… TMZ has learned.
Production sources tell us Maya won’t be returning to the Netflix reality series because she’s focused on raising her family and continuing to build her real estate business in Miami. Additionally, Maya recently changed her real estate license to become a member of the real estate company Compass.
We’re told Maya loved her time on the show… but the commute from Miami to Los Angeles to be part of the production must have been a lot to manage, especially with young kids.
She was also noticeably absent during the MTV Movie Awards when most of the other actors were in attendance.
Maya shared devastating news on Wednesday, revealing she had a miscarriage just 6 months after her son’s stillbirth. We’re told the weight of that loss also factored into Maya’s decision to end her time on “Selling Sunset.”

Sharing the sad news, Maya thanked her husband, David Millerand her two children — Assistance and She — for the “joy and happiness” they bring to his life.
We’re told that Maya had been renewed for seasons 6 and 7, but decided against moving forward.
