If you’ve always imagined yourself to be a reality TV star but weren’t quite able to sign up, then now is your chance.
Netflix has just launched what it claims to be “the greatest reality casting call ever”, inviting everyone to join hit shows such as Nailed !, The Circle, and strange eye for those 15 minutes of fame – or maybe a lot longer depending on how it goes.
Brandon Riegg, vice president of unscripted series and documentaries at Netflix, announcement the casting call in a blog post on Monday August 9.
“Reality TV is a powerful genre,†Riegg wrote. “It has the ability to make you invest in who is going to win the big competition or find true love (or at least a good demonstration). It also has the ability to bring people from all walks of life together. feel inspired and accepted after seeing themselves reflected in our shows After all, what is reality TV if it doesn’t portray real people?
How to register
First of all, it is important to note that in order to participate you must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.
To have a chance to appear on a Netflix reality show, just visit this web page, select “submit your video†at the top right of the screen, choose the reality shows you are interested in (full list below), then fill in some personal information. Finally, download the all-important video, which, by the way, should be shot in portrait mode and no longer than 60 seconds. Also, don’t forget to include your name, age and where you are from in the clip.
The best advice from Netflix for your audition video? “No need for ring lights or glam, just be the real you!”
