TAMPA, Florida (WFLA) – As Brian Laundrie’s research gained worldwide attention, a familiar face was propelled into the national spotlight.
Duane “Dog” Chapman, who starred in A&E’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter” for eight seasons, made the headlines this week after being seen knocking on the door of Laundrie’s parents’ house in North Port and reportedly searched Fort De Soto for signs of laundry.
“We got a barrage of advice on Brian Laundrie’s whereabouts,” Chien told E! News. âThere is a remarkable amount of information being shared by neighbors, friends and people who may have seen Brian very recently. For those close to Brian, I would like to reiterate that our goal is to capture him alive. His best chance is to bring him in. If family and friends want to help Brian, they will help us locate him so we can help end this peacefully.
As he returns in the headlines, Variety reports Chapman prepares for his return to reality TV.
According to the report, the bounty hunter worked with production company Thinkfactory to present a new show about his daily life and exploits.
Authorities are still looking for laundry after her family reported her missing September 17th. Tuesday, family lawyer Steven Bertolino confirmed that Laundrie went camping with her parents in September, before his fiancée Gabby Petito went missing. Laundrie is the only person affected by Petito’s death.
The FBI said last week that the U.S. District Court in Wyoming issued a federal arrest warrant for Laundrie in connection with a grand jury indictment for his “activities after the death of Gabrielle Petito,” and has alleged that Laundrie “knowingly and with intent to defraud, used one or more unauthorized access devices, namely a Capitol One Bank debit card” and personal identification numbers for two accounts.
