“Quién TV” is the name of the Blessd song that accompanies the first video ever released in the Metaverse. The song was already released by the artist and due to its success he decided to immortalize it in the Metaverse.
For the production of the video, the artist worked closely with Warner Music Latina and Meta Horizon World to migrate to virtual reality.
From Blessd’s vast discography, the team chose “Quién TV” because of its theme, which allows for better virtual exploration, and because it is undoubtedly one of the most successful songs of Blessd’s career. Blessd, and has a remix with Ryan Castro, according to the newspaper The Colombian.
In the music video, the Colombian is seen texting a girlfriend, who invites him to participate in her virtual world. Blessd immediately migrates to the Metaverse where he sings and moves on a stage with his Hecho en Medellín (Made in Medellín) logo. At the end, the artist is interrupted by a call on his cell phone which forces him to come back to reality.
The VR video comes after Blessd took part in Billboard’s Latin Music Week 2022, where he joined Colombian singer Ovy on drums on the coveted “Making the Hit Live!” panel, Billboard reported.
In a 30-minute project, the producer and the artist worked together to create an up-and-coming reggaeton track, in which Blessd improvised while singing lyrics about heartbreak. Although the track – which they cut off as they went – was not completed due to the limited time available. Attendees encouraged the duo to release the song after hearing a teaser that left everyone wanting more.
